Famous Italian Hardneck Garlic
Famous Italian Hardneck Garlic
Originating in Italy, this porcelain-type garlic is used raw, in cooked dishes, or roasted whole. Each bulb contains an average of 4 to 7 extra large, easy-to-peel, cloves.
One large clove can be enough to flavor an entire dish. Roasting or baking the bulbs will bring out the natural sugars, creating a caramelized effect. Adds zest to meats, tang to vinaigrettes, or deepens the flavor of slow simmered gravies and tomato sauces. Infuse your favorite oil or vinegar with the large cloves.
This garlic stores well and will last months in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
